Saturday 6th - Saturday 20th October 2012

    A 2 week trip to the Isles of Scilly produced very few species sadly! Main area i searched was the Garrison Campsite.

Lunar Underwing
Rusty Dot Pearl
Twenty-plumed Moth
Feathered Ranunculus (form scillonea)

   All things considered, especially the very wet weather, not good but not really too bad!

    Came across your blog from the Avon Birding site. I have been developing a wildlife garden for the last couple of years and have just seen the light with moths! I'm looking forward to seeing what I get in the garden and hope to sort out some trapping next summer! I shall keep an eye on this blog as it is a good reference as well as being interesting. Good work!!
